Galion Steel Bodies
The Galion 100U body is designed for superior service on 9900
-19500 GVWR cab/chassis'. The 100U features all 10 gauge high tensile steel
floors, tailgate, head sheets and sides. Front corner posts, two intermediate
side braces, full depth rear corner posts and boxed "material shedding" top
rails are also standard.

Available in inside lengths from 8' through 11'-6", 84" inside width with 13"
sides and 19" gate or 18" sides and 24" gate.
- Sides:
10 Gauge high tensile steel with material shedding boxed top rails, full depth
10" rear corner post, front side brace, two intermediate vertical side braces
and 6" front and rear board extension pockets.
- Floor:
10 gauge high tensile steel, with 2" radius floor to side radius.
- Front Bulkhead:
10 gauge high tensile steel construction with two bend top flange.
- Tailgate:
Heavy duty cast quick release top hardware and cast overshot lower hardware
with manual release handle.
- Tailgate Hardware:
Heavy duty all stainless cast "tarp friendly" top hardware and cast overshot
lower hardware and manual release handle.
- Lights:
Meets all requirements of FMVSS108 with oval stop/tail/turn lights recessed in
rear post. All lighting is recessed, shock mounted, complete with factory
wiring harness.
- Understructure:
Stacked design utilizing 6" structural longitudinals gusseted to 3" structural
channel crossmembers on 12" centers, lubricated front and rear cross shaft and
full width rear bolster.
- Safety Features:
All Galion 100U bodies are shipped with a "body up" warning light and OSHA
required back up alarm.
- Paint:
Glossy black thermoset powder coating on top of thermoset Zinc powder coat
primer.
The Galion 130U body is designed for superior service on 9900
- 19500 GVWR cab/chassis'. This bodies feature a 3/16" high tensile steel floor,
10 gauge high tensile tailgate, head sheets and sides. Front corner posts,
smooth sides, full depth rear corner posts, crossmemberless understructure, and
boxed "material-shedding" top rails are also standard.

The Galion PLD body is designed for superior service on 12000
- 26000 GVWR cab/chassis'. It features all 10 gauge high tensile steel floors,
tailgate, head sheets and single V brace sides. 10" full depth rear corner posts
and boxed "material-shedding" top rails are also standard. The PLD is designed
to operate with scissor type conversion hoists.

- General Dimensions:
Available in inside lengths of 12', 14' and 16" inside width with 18" sides,
42" front and 24" gate.
- Sides:
10 Gauge high tensile steel sides with horizontal pressed V brace, material
shedding boxed top rails, full depth 10" rear corner post and 6" front and
rear board extension pockets. Drop sides do not have pressed V brace.
- Floor:
10 gauge high tensile steel, with 2" radius floor to side radius.
- Front Bulkhead:
10 gauge high tensile steel construction with two bend top flange and
horizontal V brace.

The Galion 400U smooth side body is especially designed for
heavy-duty hauling requirements. It is well-suited for construction work,
aggregate hauling and bucket loading. All units are built of tough high tensile
steel to virtually outlast and outperform all others. Recommended for single
axle underbody hoist applications.

ideal for heavy loading and hauling conditions. This product is suitable for

The Galion 450U is a heavy duty body that "beats the cold"
during low temperature use with integral heat ducts. The 450U is well suited for
aggregate hauling/spreading, construction and batching work...at any time of the
year, anywhere on the globe! This heavy duty body features full depth rear
corner posts and bolster, a 6-panel tailgate and continuous weld throughout.

The Galion 500U/T is excellent for over-the highway aggregate
hauling. It is also Ideal for construction and batching work, and for hauling
and spreading stone, sand, gravel and other aggregates. Galion 500U/T series
bodies utilize high tensile steel throughout for best resistance to abrasion.
The Galion 500U/T is the largest of Galion's steel body product line, and can be
used with underbody and telescopic hoists.
